Phoberocyon

Phoberocyon is a large extinct genus of hemicyonine bear, found primarily in North America during the Miocene. It lived from 28.4 to 13.7 mya, existing for approximately 14 million years. One species, P. hispanicus, is known from Miocene Spain.

No picture of Phoberocyon was found. Wikipedia, Wikidata and iDigBio were searched and had none. Smithsonian Open Access did not answer, so this is what the others held rather than everything there is. GBIF was asked, and what came back is not recorded: nothing, or a picture this site could not tie to Phoberocyon, or no answer at all. This entry cannot say which.
