Palaeoplatoda
Palaeoplatoda is an extinct genus from the late Ediacaran of Russia, and was alive around 558 – 555 Ma. Noted to have a leaf-like body, it was originally placed alongside Dickinsonia in the phylum Platyhelminthes, and later the class Dipleurozoa, although more recent studies have placed it within the class Erniettomorpha. It is a monotypic genus, containing only Palaeoplatoda segmentata.
No picture of Palaeoplatoda was found. Wikipedia, Wikidata and iDigBio were searched and had none. GBIF was not searched: the Paleobiology Database does not place Palaeoplatoda firmly enough to tell it from something else bearing the same name, and a search on the name alone returns whichever of them was photographed. Smithsonian Open Access did not answer, so this is what the others held rather than everything there is.
