Necrotauliidae

Necrotauliidae is an extinct family of Mesozoic amphiesmenopterans. While previously considered a paraphyletic grouping of "basal Trichoptera, basal Lepidoptera, and advanced stem-Amphiesmenoptera", they have recently been considered early diverging caddisflies. Other authors have considered them to be basal amphiesmenopterans.
