Cadurcodon
Cadurcodon is an extinct genus of amynodont that lived during the Middle Eocene to Middle Oligocene. Cadurcodon had a wide geographic range, stretching from the Balkans to East Asia. The type species, C. ardynensis, is known from the Late Eocene of Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and China. Several other species are recognized, all from either Kazakhstan or China. The genera Paracadurcodon and Sianodon, both known from China, are generally agreed to be synonyms of Cadurcodon, though the taxonomy is not entirely solved.
