Nannites

Nannites is a genus in the ammonoid cephalopods in the order Ceratitida from the middle and upper Triassic of the Alps, named by Mojsisovics (1897). Nannites is the type genus of the Nannitidae which has been placed in the Danubitaceae. Previously the Nannitidae was included in the Ptychitaceae along with the Ptychitidae and, Isculitidae.

No picture of Nannites was found. Wikipedia, Wikidata and iDigBio were searched and had none. Smithsonian Open Access did not answer, so this is what the others held rather than everything there is. GBIF was asked, and what came back is not recorded: nothing, or a picture this site could not tie to Nannites, or no answer at all. This entry cannot say which.
